ABOUT THE SOLAR INSTITUTE OF NEVADA

Mission Statement

To provide the general public the educational entry into renewable energy as a vocation or an avocation, and to inspire them to continue their investigation and pursuit of renewable energy.

Facilities

The Solar Institute of Nevada LLC is located at 4100 W. Flamingo Blvd just a half-mile west of the famous Las Vegas Strip. The 600 square-foot classroom includes a multi-media lecture room and a lab area with a .7 KW operational PV system that the class will take apart and reassemble.

Future Plans

We hope to add classes in other areas of renewable energy, such as solar thermal, wind energy, micro-hydro, and energy auditing.
